Highlights of Porto

Join us for a special tour through Porto's historic center, where we'll explore the narrow streets of old neighborhoods like Sé, Miragaia, and Vitória. During the tour, we'll make brief stops to visit and admire the magnificent tile panels in the entrance hall of S. Bento Station, considered by some historians to be one of the most beautiful train stations in the world. We'll travel through the city center in an electric E-Mehari, passing by famous landmarks such as the shopping street Rua de Santa Catarina, Mercado do Bolhão, Café Majestic, and Batalha square, where we'll catch a glimpse of the remarkable building of the National Theater of S. João. Heading south, we'll make a mandatory stop at the viewpoint of the Serra do Pilar in Vila Nova de Gaia, offering stunning views of the Douro River and the Luiz I Bridge. Returning to the north riverside bank, we'll pass through the historic area, head down to Aliados Avenue, and take a look at the impressive building of Porto's City Hall. Continuing our tour, we'll visit a very special neighborhood where one of the most beautiful bookstores in the world is located.
