Let's head north to Penafiel to visit Quinta da Aveleda, a pioneering Vinho Verde producer founded in 1870. The Quinta da Aveleda is renowned for its beautiful gardens and architectural heritage. It was awarded the "Best of Wine Tourism Award" for its exceptional qualities. Visitors can embark on a sensory journey, experiencing a range of aromatic and colorful sensations that vary depending on the season. There are many rare species of centennial trees, including the Japanese cedar, the swamp cypress, and the American sequoia. Visitors can also admire a wide range of camellias during their tour. At the end of the tour, visitors have the opportunity to taste three different wines in the tasting room.

The experience is complete with a tasting of three of Aveleda’s Vinho Verde wines that better allow the identification and differentiation of the main grape varieties of the region: Aveleda Loureiro & Alvarinho; Aveleda Loureiro; Aveleda Alvarinho.
11:45 AM - Aveleda´s Store
After the tour, you’ll have some time to check out the local products.
12:00 PM - Return to Porto
