Here, sparkling wines, fine wines, and exquisite brandies age gracefully alongside nine stunning art collections. As we explore, you’ll discover permanent exhibitions showcasing archaeology, ethnography, mineralogy, paleontology, tiles, ceramics, pewter, and the rich heritage of Indian culture. This captivating guided tour lasts 1 hour and 30 minutes, and ends on a high note with a tasting of Aliança's sparkling wine—a flute of pure delight. Next, we venture into the picturesque city of Aveiro, affectionately known as the "Portuguese Venice." With its enchanting canals and vibrant urban life, this city offers a seamless blend of water and land. We'll embark on a leisurely boat ride through the canals, visiting iconic neighborhoods like Beira-Mar, Paraíso, Alboi, and Fonte Nova. Along the way, you’ll take in the beauty of Art Nouveau architecture, industrial landmarks, and Aveiro’s rich historical and modern charm. Our journey continues to the scenic Costa Nova beach, famous for its vibrant striped houses known as Palheiros. Once simple fishermen’s storage units, these colorful structures now stand as some of the most eye-catching beach homes in Portugal. To complete your cultural journey, we’ll stop for lunch at a traditional local restaurant, where you can savor authentic flavors from the region (lunch not included in the tour).
