"We were so fortunate to find Ricardo, an amazing guide, and his adorable electric Citroen convertible. Our other guide had taken ill so we literally stumbled on him and his cute car while traipsing the hills of the city. He picked us up promptly the next morning at the hotel and off we went to Faz which we were interested in exploring. Definitely worth the ride to see another side of Porto . We also extended the tour to explore further out on the coast
Ricardo has a wealth of knowledge regarding the history , culture , food and art of the city of Porto.He is also a pleasure to spend time with.
I rank him the best of the best!
Only thing that saddens me is that we were leaving the next day and did not get to spend more time with this fabulous gentleman and learn more from him.

Porto Electric Car Tour. - "We had the best day with Ricardo. He is such a wonderful man. He went above and beyond to please us. We started out a 9 am and back at 6 pm. He showed us everything we wanted to see in Porto and more. He is very knowledgeable able the history behind all the places in Porto. He treated us to our first Pastel da Nata. We had a wonderful lunch in Matosinhos. His electric car is comfortable and great for touring. No fumes, no bouncy around, and quiet unlike a tuk tuk. Great for picture taking since it has open windows. Stops along the way. We were like family by the end of the trip. We highly recommended him."

Super Fun tour and Guide! - "We spent a great morning discovering Porto with Ricardo of Eco Local Tours. We zipped around in his bright turquoise electric Citroen convertible. Ricardo was a master at getting through crowds and tight places to get us the best views and close to sites. He gave us just enough information and history so we weren't overwhelmed but were informed. It was a very personal tour taking us to places based on our interests. We had so much fun that after only a few hours we felt like friends. We highly recommend discovering Porto with Ricardo and Eco Local Tours."

The Best Tour Guide! - "Ricardo was amazing and the best tour guide!! He was nice, super easy to talk to, very knowledgable and gave lots of historical facts. It was incredible because not only was he pointing out all the cool spots and giving us the history of Porto, he was a great driver as well. We really got to see so much of Porto in just a few hours! He also gave us a great wine tasting. This private tour was totally worth it and would recommend for anyone!"

Ricardo é um guia independente cujo amor pelo que faz e pela sua cidade transparece no seu trabalho. Ele foi muito solícito na comunicação durante a organização do passeio, inclusive oferecendo-se para alterar o horário quando a previsão era de chuva (o que aceitamos de bom grado). Uma coisa é um guia turístico memorizar um roteiro e segui-lo à risca, outra bem diferente é conhecer tão bem o assunto a ponto de adaptar o passeio aos interesses dos seus clientes. Como recém-chegados ao Porto, Ricardo adaptou-se à medida que aprendia sobre o que já tínhamos visto. Isso foi inesperado, mas ficamos muito gratos pela personalização – e demonstra o seu profissionalismo. Tivemos um ótimo passeio, aprendemos muito e também adoramos conhecer o Ricardo. Quando recebermos amigos e familiares em visita, será ele quem os convidaremos para nos mostrar a cidade. Recomendo vivamente.

"This tour was the perfect start to our stay in Porto. Ricardo was very knowledgeable and therefore able to tell us so much about the city, with the tour taking in many places of interest. We also really loved the electric car, which made it so easy to get around Porto and cover a large area during the two and half hours. We were able to take in a good number of Ricardo's recommendations during the days that followed, when we were exploring on our own on foot, and found all of them to be excellent.
